Partition Magic and Windows fdisk

I see on an article which says that windows fdisk can only work on the hard disk under the size of 80G, it doesn't work on the hard disk which size is larger than 120G or more . is it true?

Partition Magic is powerful but not a freeware, are there any free ones?

It does not display over 80, but you can trick it by using the percentage of the drive you want for the partition instead of a numerical value. So when it ask the size you want to use type in a number from 1 to 100 followed by the % sign. It will not display the size correctly in FDISK, but don't worry, just go ahead and format ( if any partition is over a certain size it will not display correctly here also). After you install Windows everything will be seen as the correct size.
I have used this on 120Gig drives with no problems.
