software requiring cd?

I recently bought a cheap hoyle casino game. It requires a CD to be in the drive when playing the game. Is there any way around this so that i can put other cd's in or just so i don't always have to switch cds

you can use a program called virtual drive to make an image of the cd:

are there any freeware programs to convert the cd to a cd image file to use with the software you suggested. I don't have any software on this computer that will convert to an image file.

I tried daemon tools. It doesn't have any program to make an image included. If you go to help it suggested several programs to make the image. I tried Clone Cd (one of the programs suggested) I made the image and loaded it into daemon tools, but the program didn't open. It doesn't say "no disc inserted" like it did before i installed daemon tools but the pointer turns to an hour glass for few seconds then turns back to the regular pointer.
When I used clone cd a tried making an image under the game cd option and then tried it again under the protected game cd, neither one worked.
I would rather not pay 35$ dollars to try the other because it is only 10$ game and I don't play that many games and this would probably be the only time i used it.

www.megagames.com supply crack files for a huge amount of games to stop you requiring the game CD in your machine.

I notice there are Hoyle Casino nocd game fixes there.

I look at that website (mega games) but all i could find were trainer files for the game. It is hoyle casino 2003.
Does anyone know why I can't burn a copy or use daemon tools to emulate the cd?

Thanks for the replies.

Your game probably has copy protection.

CD image files are useless in these cases because the copy protection stops you from copying the CD image to the hard drive.

I've had this problem with IL2-Sturmovik Forgotten Battles for months and like you, I will have to wait until MegaGames.com comes up with a suitable "nocd" patch file.

Good luck!

I doubt cheap casino games are have copy protection, just because I had Hoyle Casino, and it was fun, but it was just an overall cheap game, and its not something high level like Half Life 2 that require that kind of protection, simply because people aren't really out to pirating cheap casion games...lol...but who knows maybe it is protected....lol.

Cheap or otherwise, most games have copy protection these days.
