quick question
I've been gone for a week, and I was just wondering if there is a place in the OS (Win XP Pro) where you can see if the system has booted up while I was gone, or to see if my computer has been used? Any info would be great. thanks!

Somebody may come along and give u a better answer, but U may find what you're seeking in the "Event Viewer".
Go To: Start>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer and Check the "System" and "Application" Logs. It will give U the Date and time that "services" were started, when errors occured, etc. U shouldn't have any trouble finding out what you want. HTH |

Event viewer is not giving a accurate picture of when my system was last booted. The "Status" of my internet connection does show time system has been up. In my case it shows that system has been up for 19 days and event viewer goes back to Dec. 5, 2003 which is 50 days. Dec. 5, 2003 is the day the system was loaded.
Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > right click and select Properties of Local Area Connection > check box to show icon. To display time up, move cursor over icon, right click and select Status. Chas
