does anyone know how to put a header or a footer in adobe pagemaker 7. doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something like the page number. something that is so easy in word is giving me some problems in pagemaker. thanks for the help

File > Document Setup

Options for the page numbering are there. More options are under the Numbers button.

edit: must just be really stupid or really tired, but for some reason i still cannot figure this out. i went to the document setup and enabled numbering. do i have to create a text box and if so, how do i format that text box to do page numbering. i tried looking at the help file, but it did not help that much. i guess i am not sure what a master/publication page is. any help would be much appreciated. sorry for the dum questions, i am just a newb at pagemaker

thanks again

No prob, I am a noob in PM myself.

I need to take a more thorough look thru the manual. I will post tomorrow with my findings as I really need to hit the hay now.

That ok?

Cheers!

I just remembered when I turned off the computer that I had to print some things, so what the heck, here I am again.

Apparently, the only way to change options in page numbers in PC is using the Document Setup (Adjust Page in PM7?).

PM assigns automatically page numbers to all pages in a document, so the only thing that you can change is the format and the starting number. You don't have to create a text box.
