recording software
Hey
Does anyone know where i can find some recording software for recording music? Any good suggestions? Because i've got my guitar connected to my computer and i wanna record songs that i'm writing. And it would be cool if they have more than one track and stuff because i wanna record and edit like two guitars and stuff like that. Thanks!

A good start would be Goldwave since it's freeware. But it's only two track (stereo). The makers of Goldwave offer a multi-track editor called Multiquence - but the demo will timeout. From there, you can move on to stuff from Cakewalk, Steinberg or Logic. Cakewalk has music specific to the needs of guitarists. You might want to check that stuff out. I personally use Steinberg products in our studio (Cubase SX and Nuendo) so I can't really comment on Cakewalk products specifically, but I've hear their products are very good.
