norton antivirus probs
i previously had win98se as os and just upgraded to winXPpro.
b4 i upgraded , i tried to update my norton antivirus from 2001 to 2003. . . . . . . . it failed saying that i had to uninstall all norton apps and retry ........... did this then tried again but to no avail........ pc then said i had earlier version installed and had to uninstall it as i had already done this it confused me ?????? i have now deleted anything with norton or symantec on my hdd and tried again and again still to no avail......?????????? any ideas?? |

Go to Symantec's wonderful/great/fantastic support site and download their un-installer...

Welcome to PCMech. You may also want to try going HERE to follow Morris's guide for uninstalling Norton. It can be messy to remove.
