Colour Quality

Every time I turn on my computer and go into my account the colour quality automatically goes to 8bit! I then go to my Desktop, right click, go to Properties, then to Settings and change my colour quality to 32bit. The colour quality stays at 32bit, except as soon as I restart the computer it goes back to the 8bit. I am getting tired of having to allways change the colour quality back. So how would I make the colour quality stay at the 32bit colour quality unless I change it myself? Any help would be appreciated.

-Thanks

Are the drivers installed for the video card? Not just the default ones that windows installs.

Does the resolution change as well as the color depth?

Check the device manager for any drivers with exclaimation points.
