MS Word-dividing a page

Hello,

In Microsoft Word (Windows XP Pro) :

how can i divide a page (A4) in half, left & right parts and write text in the left or/and right parts as if they are two separate, different pages? Is that possible to do that? If yes, how to divide it in 3 or 4 parts etc ? Please note without using a table with columns because the borders will appear in the printouts.

Thank you,
Star-Com.

if you open the tables and borders toolbar u can turn off the borders on a table.
Or u can use colunms which u can find on the standard toolbar. And remember , when in doubt press F1 (Help). Hope this is of some help to u, maybe someone with a bit more experience than me can help a bit more.

Thank you for your answer Charlie1,

if you use tables (so as to turn off the borders later) how can you put the table exactly in the centre of the page, left & right distances equal and also upper & lower distances equal?

Thanks,
Star-Com.
