Eudora: delete address from prompt list?

Version 4.2- when you type the first letter in the To: field of a new message, a drop down list appears with the email adddress of everyone one you have ever sent a message to. Horrors !!
How can I delete from this list? Can't find anything on their site, but if you can suggest some better keywords to describe this maybe I could re search the support data base.
What file ending would it likely be, in the Qualcom program files?
Thanks lots,
Chris.

Do you have an Auto-Complete option in your settings (or options) menus? If so you can tweak it by either disabling it entirely or simply reducing the number of autocomplete entries.

Eudora 5.2 has an auto completion tab under tools ----------> options. May want to check there.

Thanks guys- Reduced 'maximum(auto complete) entries' to zero but they're still there and I want to delete them, not just stop them appearing. They seem to be filed in a ' history '
file but I can't find it. I'll go back on the eudora site now I know the right words.
Thanks !
