What does Pinnacle do?
my friend gave me this Pinnacle installation disc, but before I install it i just wanted to know if it can actually create DVDs that i'll be able to watch on any DVD player.
i already have all those other programs like dvdshrink and a decrypter, i just need a burning program now. |

Pinnacle is primarily a Video editing program for making and burning movies to DVD. If you are not doing the, say from a camera or vcr to Disk then you really don't need to install it.

Pinnacle can be a lot of things, depending on which version you have. A good portion of their stuff is proprietary, which means that usually to use their software you have to have their card installed in your computer. Which pinnacle product did your friend give you? Is this a legal product?
