INTERNET explorer
For some reason since I reinstalled XP ( fixed, over the top installation) the internet surfing has become slow, ( even with the recent broadband upgrade) Its not the loading of the pages, they sorta of just freeze once the page has loaded, you can't move the page or click on any links for bout 10 secs, its very irritating especially when you just paid for upgrade to broadband, I've tried rolling back the system to before the problem occured but when ever i try any system restore it fails wit tht big red X , & says you cannot do this. So any ideas?

Have you scanned for spyware? If not, download, install, immediately update and then run Spybot and/or AdAware. Read the help files to familiarize yourself with how they work. I recommend you use them both since each tends to find things the other misses. Let them clean up any spyware found.
Then, to be doubly sure, download and run CWShredder (link to the download is near the bottom of the page). |
