Hello
Is it possible to save access files to floppy,i have tried and keep getting an error saying this type of file cant be saved (or something similiar)can i rename it with another extension. Thankyou |

Yes, it certainly is possible, as long as the file fits on the floppy.
Exactly where are you trying to save it from? I have never seen that kind of message before, whether I was directly saving to a floppy from within Access, or copying the file from the HD to the floppy in Explorer. |

Hello,i am saving it from File>Open >right click file >send to 3.5 floppy>and it says"the target cannot handle this type of document

Perhaps something wrong happened to the send to shortcut, try right clicking on the access file, select copy, then go to my computer, open drive a: right click somewhere on the window and select paste.

I too think it is a problem with the "Send to floppy" action. Just drag and drop.

Why don't you try opening the file in Access and the choosing File>Save As and give the Save to location as your floppy drive?
