What version of Access?
But it sounds like the input mask wizard was not installed or you are trying to use this function on a data type not supporting it. What is the data type you ar trying to use this on? I know text, number, date/time and currency all support the feature (probably others too, but NOT yes/no for example) You do not get the ellipsis (...) button at the extreme right?

I have not heard of these problems (which does not mean all that much) but I have both 97 and 2003 installed and the only issue I was aware of was an inability to change the field on a text data import, so you have to import the data to a new table, delete the data and change the fields to the data types it should be and then re import ot the now exisitng table (version 2003)
I'd seriously look into just doing a reinstall and choose all the options for access. I know when I worked in the office instad of from home that they install given for access was pretty stripped down and there were no wizards availbale until I had IT come by and do a full install. Which version are you using? |
