Outlook Express
I am trying to back up my Inbox, outbox, and deleted items.
I have read that if I back up my .dbx then I have backed everything up correctly. Is this true? How would i reinput these files back to my HD? My HD is bad and it is being replaced by dell. I need to make sure I have backed everything up correctly. Thanks S |

Copy everything out of your identity, all the dbx files and the other ones in that folder. Copy them back to a folder on the new hard drive, and if you burned them to a CD to do the backup, remove the "read only" attribute from the files. Use the OE import wizard, and import from a store directory, browse to where you copied them to.

You might want to download Express Assistant 7.0
It can be found here www.ajsystems.com it is free to try for 15 days, but that is all you need. It also can be used to save your "FAVORITES" in IE as well. I used earlier versions, and it worked great.
