I recently purchased the pcbuildup ebook. I download the file and try to open it, and it says that it is not a valid win32 application. Could someone tell me what is wrong and how to get them to work?

A few people have reported this problem. This is happening likely because you do not have the complete files, but only fragments.

Try the following if you can:

(1) Clear your browser cache.
(2) Restart your browser.
(3) Delete the prior file.
(4) Disable virus checking during the download.
(5) If you use a firewall, disable it during the download.
(6) Retry.

Let me know if this makes a difference for you.

You may also want to try Netscape, Opera or another browser.

Note that these are only temporary things to try. I'm not suggesting you make these changes permanent.
