thoughts on aol

i no that this is not the site i should be putting a poll for aol.
do u like aol as a I.S.P. this the program good. (not including the aim part of aim isp)
how is the dsl part of it
how is the cable part of it plz vote now
look at other poll to for better one

i dont want to put any company in harms way or my self if im doing that i will be galdy delete this post

AOL is a Gateway (you have to go to them first) that targets new users who do not any better or others who have not noticed what a rip-off it is.
First you pay a premium price for the services (Dial,DSL or Cable). Then they utilize part of the bandwidth you are paying for to send you advertisments.
Next their software, and the auto updates are known to cause problems to the point that they were actually sued and settled over this problem.
Finally the so called features that AOL highlights are the most virus writer/script kiddie friendly of any thing out their. The buddy lists, the open mail spamming and the joke of the day bunch make it easy to spead a virus all over the place.
