import wab in outlook express 6
i have backed up my address book as a wab file before i had to reformat last week.
When I go to import the file it dose not seem to recognize the wab file on the cd so i copied it to the desktop, but it still dose not find the wab file on the desk top. any ideas how I can restor this file? thanks S |

Have you removed the read-only attribute from it?

yes, i did. It seems to be almost as if the file that I exported is empty.
172 kb. dose that seem to small toi have 200 addresses? when i opened the file (befor i formated) it had all the names on it but now when i open it no names come up. when I say open it i am refering to double clicking the icon and runing it b/c it seems to be saved as an exe file when I view the properties. but it is named wab |

Yep, it's empty. You saved the wrong wab. My wab is exactly 172kb and it's empty because I don't use Outhouse Express.
