I would recommend Kill It All. This is a really good program that shows all the processes including ones that don't show up in Task manager. Well recommended.

This is a freeware Post It Note utility. Instead of hanging them all around your computer, you can have it on your computer's desktop! |

Many people don't have any of the Microsoft Office suites and this can be a big problem when trying to open Excel and Powerpoint files that are either online or that are e-mailed to you by a lucky friend that has these programs. Microsoft offer excellent free Excel and Powerpoint readers that open files from all versions of these programs. I have found to be invaluable:
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...S/xlViewer.exe http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...6/ppviewer.exe Here's a question though. I have recently switched from IE6 to Mozilla Firefox and I like it a lot. Is it worth changing Outlook 6 as well (which I don't particularly have a problem with) or is it better to just leave a good thing the way it is? Thanks a lot. Great thread by the way! |

i almost forgot roboform. This has a free version. there are few limitations from the one u have to buy that I never come accross. it saves all you information and the best part is absolutely no spyware. its password protected if you want so no one else can get to it if you put protection on.

DiskWizard- installs hard drives, diagnostics, formatting, partitioning,
and rapid cloning of hard drives, etc. You must clone your C:drive and put it in a drawer, not on the machine. Download DW or use online. Its 'for Seagate drives' but it has worked with all I've tried it with. http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/...s/discwiz.html Chris. |
