Gran Theft Auto vice city prob...
*sigh*
every time i want to play gta it never works... i put in the disk click play. nothing. whenever i put it in windows pops up one of those "vice city play" things because it reads music files on the cd... evey time i want to play i need to reinstall and but not start over... for some reason it saves my game... anyone know how i can fix it? if it matters ill lose what i have done in the game... thanks... |

There is a patch out for this problem try that if that doesnt work, disable the auto play when you put the CD in by pressing and holding down the shift key. You should only have to hold the shift key for about 10 to 20 seconds

What do you mean reinstall and not lose everything. I thought Vice City leaves the saved game files in the Documents folder even if you uninstall.
