any tempreture reading software?

is there any free software around that will display your current tempreture on your processor?

i keep getting this damn beeping noise and just want to see if it my processor overheating!

Did you look in BIOS? You should be able to see CPU temp there.

i believe i have a Gigabyte GA-7N400PRO2 nForce 2 8xAGP Ultra400 400 FSB DDR400 IEEE 1394 Retail Box

and yes i have checked the BIOS but the noise only goes when the computer is bein used and not just sitting there

thanks guys! i tried the speedfan and it looks pretty good! no configuration just set it self up and boom! starts tellin me me system temps!

i did try mbm but it was a bugger to set up in my view and it didnt give accurate readings unlike speedfan!!

so again i say thanks!
