Opera vs. Firefox
Hi all,
Well, I decided to give Mozilla Firefox 0.8 a try tonight. So far I'm impressed with the speed of this browser. It appears to be a touch faster than Opera (or maybe I'm just thinking that). What do you guys think? TIA. |

I love it. Used Camino on my Mac(Safari was in its early stages), and IE on Windows for some time until I decided it was pointless to download a pop-up blocker or a download manager and updates for it, so I went to Mozilla, and who could dl anything that wasn't the fastest
Firefox has been great and has a better installer then... shoot already forgot what the last mozilla I used was... anyways. ya its great

I use both to tell you the truth. I can’t decide from the two. After I installed the copy image extension (why they would not include it, is beyond me) and the extension to open all windows in tabs its great. I don’t see the point of having tabs and windows not opening in tabs. Why should I go thru the hassle of having to download an extension for that? Isn’t Tabbed browsing what they are promoting?
I don’t know if it’s just in my mind but I find that using any Mozilla software slows down my machine. Do you guys experience that? |
