Windows Media Player error message....
I have some Mpeg files in a folder on my desktop and when I double click on one to play it an error message saying "Windows cannot find 'wmplayer.exe,' Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." comes up. Though if I open WMP manually and then click the file, it plays. How can I make it so when I click the file it plays it?

Hold the shift key down and right click on the file. Choose "open with" (then Choose Program if necessary) and when the list appears, scroll down till you see Windows Media Player, highlight it, and check the box for "always use this program to open these files".

I was hoping you came to the rescue , you always do.....but that didnt work either, the media player did open and play it but after I closed media a player I got the error message again, if this helps explain the problem further, the icons already look like media player icons...
