fqpissed MS Office crashes all the time

Im running Win XP Home and Win Office 2003, but for some reason everytime i am running it, the program sends me the "Send Error Msg" and says that Office will now close...
it happens all the time. i tried ScanDisk, Norton Disk Doctor, reinstalling the program, reinstalling Win XP etc. is there some sort of driver i need or something???

What is your default printer, and is it able to be seen when you open Office? If it's a network printer and not available, this can cause exactly what you are experiencing.

You can get Service Pak 2 for Office from Microsoft for free. Lot easier that a two hour download on dial-up.

errr, service pack 2, where is that from? i just updated all of my Office stuff, but it still happens. i also checked for spyware, antivirus etc.

ooo, yea once i deleted all my printers, i no longer run into any problems...but does that mean i have to install and uninstall my network printer everytime!!??

No, you just have to set a printer that's connected directly as your default - or set the fax driver as your default printer.
