Lightbulb File Deletion (access Denied)

Hey guys was wondering If someone could help me out... I DL cs-condition zero (160,000 kb) and my AVG found a virus in it caught it and prompted me to heal/enable/disable access and i selected heal. then attempted to delete the file and I get this message:

Unable to delete this file..Access Denied
make sure disk is not write protected or make sure file is not in use.

I know it is not in use cause the program wont load.
i have tried various "software removing"1 freewaare but nothing seems to work..and i am not DOS literate..i used to b .but long time ago

Would appreciate some help if anyone can offer it

Thank You

if you know the specific folder, like say the system32 folder, then you can try a scan with trendmicro(housecall something or other) and specify the folder and that might remove it. It worked for a friend, and me as well.

you can always go into command prompt, type 'cd'+ the directory name until you reach where you copied the program, and then type 'del cszero' or whatever the file name is. This should delete the program no worries

Try deleting it from Safe mode. Use F8 at the splash screen to get into Safe. And welcome to PC Mech!
