looking on some ways to spead up my comp, im geussing i got alot of stupid tmp files on my comp any way i can search for all of them and delete them? any suggestions greatly appreciated

Go into the Windows folder. Empty out the TEMP folder and the Temporary Internet Files folder. You should probably do that every so often, or browsing can begin to take a long time.

goto find files and search for *.tmp if that's the ending they have, select all and delete em.....run disk cleanup too....

You might want to get some spyware scanners (Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware) to rid your computer or malware. CoolWebShredder is another good utility to have. And you'll want to Defrag your hard drive often.

generally only delete temp files that haven't been modified in the last day aswell..

What about .bak file ????
I got 50something MB of those on my hard drive can they be deleted |

Delete your C:\Windows\Prefetch
Once every couple of days for boot speed. |
