Microsfot Professional with Service Pack 2?
Anyone know when this is coming out? Will it be worth the wait / cost? Thanks.

It would not be worth the wait to me as the service packs and updates can be added as they come out. There wasn't any added cost for SP1 and I haven't heard of any planned charges for SP2.

MaximumPC Magazine was praising SP2 for improved security, wi-fi, new IE and improvements in coding. According to the article it is slated for July.

Since it doesn't cost anything the worth-the-wait issue is moot. I've been running WindowsXP SP2 RC1 for two weeks and it's nice. Nothing fantastic but the RC1 is surprisingly problem-free for me. The popup blocker works well. The improved security isn't much of a problem. I honestly think they've done a good job on the service patch.
