CD1:
Weird format ? That's no weird format, that'S DVD-Video. VOB = Video Object (contains video and audio streams. . and subtitles if there are any) IFO = Information (about navigation etc.) BUP = backup (of IFO) So this is a miniDVD, means it's DVD content on CD. You can play it back with a DVD playback software, like PowerDVD and WinDVD. Dunno about CD2. RJ

Don't know if Studio 9 can open VOB files, but it can open MPEG-2 files.
Basically the VOB contains the MPEG-2, it's just muxed differently. So if you can't load the VOB into Studio, you can use TMPGEnc to extract video and audio stream and mux them as a normal MPEG-2 file. That can be loaded into Studio 9. RJ |

Only very very few players are capable of playing miniDVD. The majority of players can't. Just insert the CD into your player to find out if it can playback it.
There are more players that can SVCD than miniDVD. And VCD can be played by almost all, if not all. RJ |

PC does work, but not without a DVD playback software.
