Question Recycle bin in Norton System Works 03

After installing this software, my recycle bin becomes "Norton Protected Recycle Bin". What is the difference. I notice I deleted few files, and when I click the recycle bin, there are lots of files some I don't know what are in the recycle bin. How to make the recycle bin back to normal? Or How to use the Recycle bin? Thanks

Way back when I had norton utilities, as soon as I got rid of it, the recycle bin was no longer protected. Never could figure out what it actually did.

The protected recycle bin still keeps files in there for 7 days (reconfigurable) even if you empty the "standard" part of the bin, and there's a restore wizard to recover the protected files. The protected bin also saves files you delete that bypass the standard bin, and even saves files you delete from a command prompt. I also think it saves old copies of files that you overwrite. It's a darn good system, one of the few good Norton products IMO.

Thanks. You're right, I should not delete the files.
I've notice that even though some files on other Hd, it should not protect, but it ends up getting "protected" due to the temp files where it the windows stores all my deleted files is in thhe C: folder.
