Saving Documents from MSIE

Hey,

Is it possible to save files with extension ".mov" (Apple Quicktime movie) when you're on a website that has one? I'm saying, kind of like when you save a picture file, you right click it and go to "copy". Is there a way to do that for Quicktime files?

Thanks,
kram

On some, you can right click the link and choose "Save Target As' and then choose a location.

Yeah, I actually tried that. But then, the problem is that the Quicktime movie is in the page, made of HTML. But thanks for the tip.

If it's not a streaming movie then you need to look in the HTML code for the movie's path, just look for a path that ends with .mov, then download the file in a download manager, like GetRight.

As for streaming movies, I don't know if it's possible to save them.

What is considered to be a streaming movie? The ones I'm intending to save are ones that are one solid file and have an html code "________.mov" file. If so, I would probably look around to get GetRight downloaded from somewhere.

Thanks,
kram
