Ya but you have to run extra programs just to make XP look different!
is it really worth it? |

You don't really have to run any extra programs to get to use themes with Windows XP. All you need is to find and download the UXTheme.dll patcher for Windows XP. It's out there on the net somewhere (http://www.belchfire.net/article205.html), just Google it. Then just run it and you are ready to go.
Also go here for some great themes and instructions: http://www.lightstar1.com/CMS/index.php http://www.belchfire.net/ By the way, another great tool for themeing XP is StyleXP.

If you have a fairly fast PC it's no big deal to have a program that runs it (theme program). I have literally hunderds of themes saved to CD for windows blinds.

I use Window Blinds and Logon Studio as well as Bootskin. All of those can be found at www.wincustomize.com.
HERE is what my desktop looks like now. HERE is my logon screen.

I use windows blinds, webshots, Logon Loader. I get the logons from the theme XP site, and it works fine.

Hi Ho it looks so cool! I do not mind running an extra program, my PC is fast enough to handle it! no problem.
I just wanted a different feel for my windows desktop. you can only do so much by changing the background! |
