AIM me usage

Is it normal for AIM to use 30,812 k of memory?

I sure hope not. Don't use AIM, but MSN takes about 3,000 k at most as far as I can tell... Even iTunes playing music is only 14,500 k...

Yahoo IM is showing around 5,000 K - so 30,000+ seems a little extreme.

Right now, AIM's using ~11,000K for me. I've got 4 message windows up and the buddy list. 30,000 seems like way too much.

AIM seems to be a big resource hog. I have never used it and never plan to use it. This just reinforces that.

My AIM while idle uses under 4000 k, and with the buddy list open and a couple messages, it goes up to about 10,000 k.

I just started useing the linked screen name feature. Maybe that is causeing it. Anyone here use AIM with 5 names linked? And do you have the latest version?
