How can I open these files?

I downloaded some of the episodes of the Simpsons but I am unable to play them with DiVX or anything else. Their file names include [rl-DVD] at the ends.

Thanks.

is it a dvd rip? whats the size of each file?
just start renaming the extensions and try to open them in wmp or VLC.
if its a dat file then i think youd need to burn it as dvd.

Yup, it depends on the actual file extensions rather than their names
Click on the episodes, go into properties, and tell us what type of file it says it is (ie. MPEG Video, AVI, WMA)

140 MB each. Renaming to .mpeg didn't help.
