Netscape 7.1 Mail Problem -- inbox blocked
Hi all;
We have Netscape 7.1 mail at work, and the geniuses using it haven't ever cleaned it out. So with 905 messages in it it seems to be blocked. We can't get the inbox to open; other folders open fine. When we click on the inbox we just get the waiting "hourglass" and nothing happens. I tried to go into the users folder so I could delete old messages from the inbox manually, but apparently the inbox mail file is in one single file and messages can only be deleted through the mail client. Any suggestions? Is it just too fulll, could something else be the cause, is there any way to fix this? thanks! -- rd |

Try moving the inbox file to another location, open Netscape, and then importing the inbox back in. This usually works with Outhouse Express, so it's worth a try.
