What are DirectSound and DirectDraw?
What are DirectSound and DirectDraw? How do I know if my computer support them? Thanks!

They're part of DirectX, the multimedia interface between the hardware and the multimedia applications (like games, for example).
Go to start > run, type in: dxdiag and you can see what version of DirectX you have. Version 9.0b is the newest one. RJ

Yes. And dxdiag will also tell you which dll files belong to DirectX.

There are dozens of files of .dll, .sys, .exe. ax in the DirectX, the DirectX version is 8.1. How can I update DirectX to version 9.0b
