Every time I restart my computer I get a message that says cannot find C:\windows\system32\services\wmplayer.exe
When I close it a second window says I need to go to the Registery and delete it. I can not find it to delete it . Where Why and How do I solve this problem Thanks Handeeman |

handeeman63,
If you haven't already, run a virus scan with the latest updates and I would also suggest running Ad-Aware and Spybot if that hasn't been done. Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Spybot: http://www.safer-networking.org/ Free Online Virus Scan: http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp Once that's done, please post any findings and we'll work from there... -LW |

Yep, I'd be very suspicious of what appears to be Windows Media Player running as a service in the startup.

I run all three , Ad-Ware- Spybot - House call and found no Virus. Run disk cleaner and xp scan disk. Still on start up getting the same message. Except now when you close the first message and second message the first message shows back up
