Need 2 NICs that will be autmatically detect proper drivers in Norton Ghost
My old desktop is running of space on its 40 GB hard drive. So the purpose of my new computer was to store the backup image and then delete anything I don't need on my old desktop to clean up some space.
I'm using Norton Ghost 2003, which was bundled in Systemwork 2004 Pro. I can't believe this program makes users create their own drivers and doesn't even provide any support, I couldn't even find any help documents. I'm not looking for any alternative program, since I can't afford it. My solution : Norton Ghost autmatically detects and selects the proper Ghost Drivers for selected Network Interface Cards. I've thinking about purchasing 2 NICs that will be autmatically detect the correct drivers! So I need your help! I need something cheap and easy to install. I'd really Appreciate the help! |

When all else fails, use 3Com 3C905's. They are down to about $25 US now.

Go for it, just be aware of tax and shipping. Those are solid cards, that's all we use in servers if they don't have onboard Intel nics.
