Question do not show (plus 1 hidden)

when you have a hidden file somewhere, you normally want it to actually be hidden..... so is there a way to disable the folder from telling someone there is a hidden folder?

I am using Windows 2000

I dont think there is a option. Other than disabling the status bar maybe there is a registry tweak.

I don't know how, but that does always make me laugh a bit how it declares "I'm hiding something!"

I am using MS Windows XP Pro and, If i got it right, you can go to Folder Options-View and make the configuration that you prefer. That in XP.
I hope that helps.
