Problem devices listed in sys information
Hi guys, for want of something better to do I just looked up system information on my computer (running ME) and under "problem devices" came up with the following information.
IRQ HOLDER FOR PCI STEERING PCI\IRQHOLDER\IRQ03 ERROR 10 IRQ HOLDER FOR PCI STEERING PCI\IRQHOLDER\IRQ0B ERROR 10 IRQ HOLDER FOR PCI STEERING PCI\IRQHOLDER\IRQ0A ERROR 10 KODAKIFS IFSALIAS\KODADIFS\HTREE&ROO ERROR 10 PCI COMMUNICATION DEVI PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_0211&SUBSYS ERROR 28 Now everything seems to be working just fine but I just wondered what these messages in System information mean. I think the last one regarding the communication device is the internal modem that I have not installed the drivers for cos I use an external modem so didn't bother installing the drivers for the internal. but I may be wrong. And I think the Kodakifs one will have something to do with my Kodak camera software that is installed on the computer. I must admit this does give me problems at times. Can someone enlighten me on the error codes and should I do anything about them or just leave as is, cos like I said everything is working fine.

first i wood instal the drivers for the modem or remove it from your computer and see which errors are left

I have done that now and it still gives me the problems listed
IRQ HOLDER FOR PCI STEERING PCI\IRQHOLDER\IRQ03 ERROR 10 IRQ HOLDER FOR PCI STEERING PCI\IRQHOLDER\IRQ0B ERROR 10 IRQ HOLDER FOR PCI STEERING PCI\IRQHOLDER\IRQ0A ERROR 10 KODAKIFS IFSALIAS\KODADIFS\HTREE&ROO ERROR 10 Just the communication error line has gone. |
