is there freeware to defrag hard drive?

is there a freeware that defrags your hard drive for you like Diskeeper, which is a free trial and mine ran out.

I'm lookin for one where you can set a schedule to defrag your HD, so you don't have to do it manually.

Sure. The one that came with Windows. It's basically Diskeeper Light.

Why ? Those programs can't do anything else than use the Windows Task Planer. . . which you can use, too, for every program you want.

Diskkeeper Lite. It doesn't expire.

I'd fork out the bucks for the Diskeeper Pro version. I got mine a few months ago and it was well worth it.

No need for Pro if you'll defrag manually instead of automatically.

Pro has "set it and forget it" - worth the price in my opinion. It can also defrag the MFT and pagefile.
