Not Recognizing CD-RW
I have just copied some files to a CD-RW using my laptop, and even though when I check the disk on my laptop (The CPU with the writer) all the files are there, the disk doesnt get recognized by my desk top, Why is that and what can I do to correct it?

Your desktop probably doesn't have any packet writing software or a UDF reader on it. What version of Windows is on the desktop?

Yep, 98 needs a 3rd party UDF reader or DirectCD/InCD installed.
