in need of some good anti-virus software
my norton subscription will be out at the end of the month, and i do not wish to renew it. what is a good alternative to nortons or mcafee. are there any good freeware anti-virus programs? also, id like to find a good software firewall, since i dont use a router. any freeware firewalls out there as well?

I would recommend antivir. it is free and quite usable and I have found it very thorough.
