"safely remove hardware"
that little icon appears in the bottom right of my screen. when i click it talks about safley removing my printer. i have no plans of removing this, and that icon seems very pointless and it just bugs me. is there any way to keep it from starting or at least hiding it?

Just hide it by right clicking on an empty space on the Task Bar, go to Properties, click the Customize button on the Task Bar tab.
Click on the icon you want to hide and a drop-down list for that entry will appear. Choose "Always hide" from that list, click OK and OK again. That should do it. |
