How to clean out a virus

Is there anyplace online that can get rid of a virus??? I ended up with a spyware warning today thanks to my kids. And now i have issues. Any help would be great.

You may also want to look at Kerio's Personal Firewall. ZoneAlarm is known take up slightly more resources.

Yeah i noticed i startd with 88% free and now down to 76% free.

That's not that bad - I'm guessing that 76% free is pretty operable for what you do. Personally, I installed NOD32 on my Win98SE desktop. It is probably the best AntiVirus software you can get - to make sure that you will not be infected in the future. I surf around with it without a firewall, and it still works fine. As for resources, it takes up very unnoticiable amounts of system memory/CPU resource. This should prevent future infections, as mentioned earlier, and also should help get rid of what errors you have right now.

If you should not want to procure NOD32, I would try running HouseScan from TrendMicro, as ghost2003 kindly mentioned earlier.

Tell us if it works any better...though it seems that ZoneAlarm worked well so far.
