Registry Rescue

I just read my friendly email from pcmech and they suggested downloading Registry Rescue. After running it I see that there are 197 errors in my registry. I have not made many changes there before and am a little nervous about cleaning those up. What's everyone's opinion on this? Does anyone else use this software? Thanks!

If it allows you to do a backup (and has an undo function) before making the changes, try it.

I've used a product called Registry Healer for over a year now with never a glitch. As glc suggests, it offers the option of creating a restore point each time before you run it. I've never had to use the restore points but it's a comfort to know they are available if something goes wrong.
