wierd problem?
my roomates computer once hes played any video game for about 5 min or so it says whatever excutable is running to program has encountered an error and needs to be shut down...i did notice that the temp for an amd seemed somewhat high (but i was unsure cause i use intel) it was at about 54 C...this happens everytime without fail...any ideas?

54C is a bit warm but its ok. Not too sure about that error. All I can suggest is a scan disk and maybe a defrag to see it it might help. System specs?

Heat- try running with the case side off and see what the temp does. If it gets noticably cooler, say, 48 then I would invest in more case fans and/or check current airflow(cables and wires might be restricting the flow).
Drivers- Games use your video a lot. Maybe check for driver upgrade. Also check for current directX drivers. cat
