Winamp Help
I have Winamp and Windows Media Player installed, for some reason Windows Media Player wants to play all of my MP3s... How do I change the file associations so that Winamp will play all of my MP3s and other music files?

In Windows Explorer click on Tools...Folder Options...File Types tab. Scroll down and highlight MP3, then click Change.

In Windows Media Player, go to Tools>Options>FileTypes and uncheck "MP3 Audio File (mp3)" and click OK. Also in Winamp Options>Preferences>General Preferences, check MP3 in the list.

Well, Now I feel real dumb...
File associations all changed themselves to their correct setting upon restart, all I needed to do was restart it, and I would have been ok. |
