64-bit windows release status

This article says “64-Bit Coming Soon”. True Win2k Server 64-bit is supposed to be a year end release but everything else is coming in around 2007 - 2008...and that is everything is on time! Microsoft's 2007 Longhorn server-release date may be optimistic. "They're saying 2007, but we're sticking to our prediction of 2008," says Gartner analyst Tom Bittman.

All you people who have bought or are planning on buying 64-bit CPUs, don't hold your breath

Quite interesting - true 64-bit OS systems, eh? Whatever it may be, Microsoft is arousing high anticipations for Longhorn, hailing it as a completely unprecedented OS, of which will turn Microsoft into what may be the reveresal of their current downfall...just perhaps.

I have my Beta CD from M$, the one you could sign up and get it for FREE. I don't have a 64 bit processor, but I like to collect all version and even beta.
