New SPYBOT 1.3

I am probably behind the times, but here lately I noticed My spybot was no longer updating. I wast thinking that they just where not releasing a new update.

Then I did a format and reinstall. I installed spybot 1.2 from back up and noticed it would not update. but did update from the manual file download.

Well this morning, I was putting together a CD to have with me doing tech work and noticed the new spybot 1.3

I downloaded it and found it has some nice new features.

It gave me a choice to Immunize my system and has blocked 1776 bad products.

This seems to be a great preventive against spyware that will help protect those less knowledgeable about computer and those of us that are just tired of fighting the good fight.

Anyways, if you are not getting your 1.2 to update and need to be current, get 1.3. It is still Freeware.

Thanks for the heads up, Byte. I seem to have missed it in the security forum.

Guess I'll jump on the "Me too" bandwagon here, because I missed that too. Thanks Byte!
