DSL company said I could upgrade to MSN premium for free and get all these wonderful features, new browser new bells new whistles sounded good did it. Checked old IE (the one on the desktop) was cool had my favorites. The butterfly clcick produced the new slick msn premium browser. Turned computer off went to bed. Logged on today and the old IE has been upgraded and my favorites list is BUH BYE wife is mad I am sleeping on the couch. MSN help is about useless, verizon tech support told me uh sorry GRRR any ideas? My cookies seem to still be in effect on the sites I can remember from my old favorites list (like this one) any help appreciated.
Update I clcicked on a link to this site in my email and the old browser with all the favorites came up, so my favorites are still here somewhere any thoughts on how I can get the old favorites into the new browser? Last edited by borbos; 05-22-2004 at 12:49 AM. |

and your system is what?
and you O/S is what ? if by chance your running xp, and you have restore poins enabled, then you can just do a restore point back to a date before the changs, and all will be the way it was. Last edited by bailey; 05-22-2004 at 12:50 AM. |

Ahh thanks Miz wonderful link helped me get everything fixed.
I didn't notice the import link and it is a little strange the person at verizon tech support didn't know (or was aware) of it. I would think this question gets asked a lot or am I the only dummy who didn't know about it? Hmm now I got something to think about. Would also like to apologize for using the title help seems I started a trend.
