A little confused

I have no idea where this thread shoulda been posted but here goes....

BSOD and enum?? I went into the articles section and couldn't find anything about what these things are and what they do.

Can anyone enlighten me here?

Oh and also SATA and ATA, I didn;t find these in the article section either. Of course, ya know I could just be plain blind...

BSOD and ENUM

BSOD is the acronym meaning the dreaded Blue Screen of Death when the system starts having problems.

ENUM, the best I can explain it, is a windows registry setting where it lists all of your hardware Windows has detected, such your motherboard, drives, memory, etc. See using the ENUM trick in the tips and tricks section when tranferring your old hard drive to a new system.

ATA stands for Advanced Technology Attachement. ATA is also know as Parallel ATA, whilst SATA is Serial ATA. It's basically a link to your storage.
